Hypertension
1- The causes
Never forget, illness is almost always a consequence of our lifestyle in the near or distant past or even very distant. This way of seeing the disease must lead us to review our way of life on all levels. arterial hypertension is characterized by sudden and permanent rise in blood pressure. It is a cardiovascular and multifactorial pathology. It is acute or chronic, with or without external signs of severity. The alarm bells are: Headache (headache ), dizziness, palpitations, tinnitus (hearing wheezing), phosphenes (perception of light points), asthenia (feeling of fatigue), dyspnea (difficulty in breathing), epistaxis (nosebleeds), hematuria (presence of blood in the urine) etc. As soon as you notice two or three of these signs, you should check your blood pressure, consult your doctor if necessary and follow his instructions. In 90% of cases, it is rare that the various examinations carried out reveal an organic failure (liver, kidneys, heart, etc.); one then speaks of essential or primary hypertension, that is to say of unknown cause. In reality, the causes of primary hypertension are often of psychosomatic origin (stress, emotion, worries, excessive effort, fear of the next day, lack of faith, salt abuse, fat abuse, alcoholism, smoking, poor diet, etc. etc). In the remaining 10% of cases, arterial hypertension is said to be secondary and is of various causes: heart, liver, kidneys, hormonal dysfunction, etc. Obesity and alcoholism are contributing factors. In addition, we live in a world of wars, violence, movement, tension, job crisis for our children, stress, crisis of all kinds and at all levels. Countries are in crisis, homes are in crisis, children are in crisis, life is more and more expensive and very expensive, there is too much crisis and too much crime, the world is filling up with mad people. no longer knows where the world is going and it is really difficult to keep morale high. All these factors that no one can control except God Himself have made everyone tense or hypertensive and it is common today to see young people around 30 years old having high blood pressure attacks. some people starting in their sixties have become almost systematic from their fifties. It is true that blood pressure increases with age but this is not a reason and we must do something not to hasten our end and the end of the world.
2-Treatment.
a) Diet and advice.
Once the doctor makes his diagnosis and declares you hypertensive you must change your lifestyle while taking your medications regularly. This will help you better manage the disease and the medications which often are diuretics, antihypertensives, antidepressants , and sleeping pills. With a diet adapted to your weight and a few simple exercises you will live better, sleep without sleeping pills and consume few drugs. Medicines are essential when high blood pressure is installed but we can better control the dose. the drugs are outside the body and the liver and kidneys need to get rid of them quickly; however, you should never stop taking your drugs or you will suddenly die of a stroke or cardiac arrest. correct will allow you to reduce the doses with the advice of your doctor. In general, the diet of the hypertensive must be very poor in stimulants (drugs, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, etc.), low in fat, meat and cooking salt but rich in raw vegetables and vitamin B. red wine and beer in moderate doses are recommended because of their content of trace elements and B vitamins. The management of stress and negative emotions is essential. Daily and regular walking, without going to fatigue is highly recommended and especially the evenings in the open air.Let's forget that walking is the king sport and this has a very beneficial effect for the blood circulation and the secretion of moderating hormones. This is mandatory for hypertensive people and diabetics, experience it, the results will be immediate.
